Under the weather

TUMS haven't helped.

Grape-flavored Pepto-Bismol didn't provide the relief its catchy commercial promised.

Though greatly appreciated, Monte's paw-administered belly rubs have only made things worse.

Honestly, who would've thought ingesting an egg six weeks past its recommended "best enjoyed by" date could wreak so much internal havoc?

Back as soon as the nausea and stomach cramps subside...

How come your entry is dated the 17th when today is the 16th?

Get well soon and when you do, get thee to the new Zara store next to H and M at Metro Center. The store is beautiful and the clothes are even better. I saw a large amount of funnel neck clothes and even a beautiful dusky pink dress with your beloved 'circus' neck that I think would be 100 times better than the one you ordered. In fact, going to Zara right now might work greater wonders than Tums and Pepto Bismol could. My only request is that you post what you buy and keep an eye and let us know when they have a sale. Zara, sadly, is a little too expensive for me. I ended up going next door to H and M and buying four items, including two on sale, for the price of one gorgeous Zara item. That said, I don't want to sh*t on my H and M purchases. I bought the lovely grey, cap-sleeve, belted dress in the window display for $40. I'm rocking it today.
Get well soon!

Thank you for your best wishes. I wrote this post early yesterday evening after a few days of serious discomfort, but this morning I'm feeling slightly better.

But only slightly.

Yes, Miss Stern Seat, of course I'm in heels. My feet aren't ______ing ______, now are they?

Anonymous 10:10 -

thank you for your conscientiousness - I'm not sure why I had the incorrect date up there. and as soon as I'm feeling up to it, I will get my bah'um to the new Zara in Chinatown. I can't believe it's been open for as long as it has and I haven't visited it yet!

p.s. my e-mail address is: aseriousjobisnoexcuse@gmail.com

p.p.s. losing 2lbs = early Xmas prezzie

Is it weird that I can totally picture Monte in an orderly's uniform administering sore tummy treatment to you?

Frankly, I'm impressed you even had eggs in your fridge. From what I remember the last time I visited you, that's a real step up from the Miller Light and frosting diet you were living off of.

if you need me to take monte out tonight, let me know. happy to help. xoxo

Anon 11:56am knows nothing about karma, or she would keep her ill will to herself.

Hope you feel better, J.
