The very last scene in the very last episode was so perfect (when Carrie flips open her cell phone and we learn Mr. Big's name for the first time) that I'm not sure I want to see more. But I probably will, out of curiosity.
I LOVED and LOVED Carrie Bradshaw's style on SATC 1. Remember those big flowers, estate jewels, strange combinations of vintage and modern, tacky Bronx girl pendants, and the bold color palettes? Patrician Field is a genius. Truly.
Girls who fancy themselves as part of a "Carrie/Big" dynamic always want to see Carrie and Big succeed. It gives them hope. But if you're not with him, he's not a Big, and you ain't a Carrie.
Each day, with old man candor, I'll offer my brand of style counsel to the professional DC women who believe a serious job is a valid excuse for an ill-fitted, office inappropriate, comfort first work wardrobe. And when the mood strikes me, which is often, I'll also muse about celebrity fashion and my own fashion-related comings and goings, both of which, I'm sure, are of great interest to you.

You're right, that was a really perfect way to end the show, but I have to see how Carrie and Big play out. I just have to...
I can't wait for the movie, I hope some of my friends and I will have a night out with coctails and movie.
Just marked it on my calendar. I'm sure it won't be as good as we're hoping but I'm still really excited for it!
I am also counting down the days!
so. over. it.
