Once again, Blogspot is being fussy -- hence, why yesterday's "If I had a Sugar Daddy" and "Since I don't (yet)" haven't changed. Cross your fingers it'll clear up soon.

G'morning!

Also, I'm not crazy about the pleats in the BCBG skirt, but you'd be amazed at just how IMPOSSIBLE it is to find a pleat-free ivory skirt this late in the Summer season. So...if I *really* had a sugar daddy, I'd have him pay for a tailor to remove the fussy pleats and make it a simple A-line skirt.

At first I wasn't crazy about the orangey/navy color combo, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. You really do have an eye!

The Foley top is the only thing I'm 'eh' on in the first outfit. Love the second one. The trenches are gorgeous.

can I get a woot for the 3-day weekend??

Johanna-
H&M (which I pass on my way to work) has a black, fall-weight wool jacket in the window with a nice stand-up funnel neck. The buttons are slightly large and lay on the left side of the jacket. You must go look at it. I might run into you there, when I am trying it on.

I love both bags! I fear maybe I'm not fashionable enough to "get" how these colors work together in an outfit - they look kinda odd to me.

But that's what style is sometimes, right? Taking chances?

Love your style but not lovin' these outfits. I think I like all the items individually, just not together. Well, some of them together but not all.

your new picture is quite sassy - love it!

What do you think about white after labor day? It is a totally made up stupid rule, I think!

anonymous 1:24-

I think the "no white" rule is silly, too. Where I *do* think there exists a Labor Day expiration date, however, is when we're talking about certain fabrics, white or otherwise. Lightweight cottons, jerseys and especially eyelet -- these are materials I would definitely NOT encourage you to wear past Summer's last day. This is out of practicality, not tradition.

But white wools, white cashmeres and other Wintery whites are completely acceptable. And encouraged!

best,
J

Beware, the Delia*s trench looks a lot more like a $58 coat in person than through the magic of photography. I was disappointed after checking it out at the store.
