Truth be told, even if I weren't Amtrakking down to the land of NASCAR this weekend for my inaugural visit to my mini-me niece, I would still take the next three days off from updating this site.
Why, you ask?
Because like every other 11 year old, grandfather, housewife, K St. lobbyist and DC-Madam-employed lady of the night, once I impatiently rip my pre-ordered 784-page last installment from the mitts of whichever Borders employee happens to say to me, "Next customer, please" tonight at midnight, I'm going to have this face stuck in this book until every last question is answered and every last loose-end is tied up to my satisfaction.
