Yes, *another* LBD

I have no idea how one sits in a dress with this much boning and under-the-covers tulle, but who cares when it looks this fabulously Audrey Hepburn-esque sauntering down a red carpet on Bridget Moynahan's enviable 5'10" frame?

The simple, out-of-the-way hair is ideal for the high cut of the boatneck, the tiny dangle earrings are perfect as her only above-the-neck accessory, and the yellow gold bangles, well, I'm biased when it comes to those. I would've gone with a bare leg and a simple not-too-high but not-too-low heel - this 3-inch red patent-leather slingback would have been perfect - but given her recent announcement and the prospect of having her child call Giselle Bündchen "stepmom," I'm gonna cut her a few yards of slack.

I'd also like to point out that it's sculpted arms like hers that force my ass to the mat for 60 after my cardio workouts.

The event to which Bridget wore this beautiful, surely vintage cocktail dress was the NYC premiere of her controversial new film, "Gray Matters," the very first premiere of which was in our own fair city back in January at, of all places, the Swedish Embassy on 15th and M St.

For evidence of why this film has earned such a jaw-dropping reputation - and why all the Swedes drove home in their Volvos with the seat-warmer settings on 'high' - watch this clip of Tom Brady's babymama and her enormously talented co-star Heather Graham do a bit more than hug it out:

Down boys, it'll come to E Street Landmark soon enough...

what better way to celebrate not working today than by sitting on my ass watching this clip over and over and over again?

as usual, though, Heather ends up ruining it in the end with her "acting" skills. I think her performance in "Boogie Nights" and this clip prove she should have stayed in the adult genre. It's what she's good at. It's *all* she's good at.

Not crazy about the black dress, doll, but you'd look smashing in it! You need to get to NYC and soon. Its worse off without you, you know...

I loooove that dress! it's so whimsical and classy. definitely the kind of dress you could imagine Audrey wearing in the fifties and sixties.

don't you feel awful for Bridget? I don't really like Giselle, but I feel bad for her, too. Can you imagine the drama of finding out your new boyfriend was about to be a dad with his ex?? Could be a dealbreaker. I'm sure you'll keep us updated!

picking my jaw up off of the floor right now.

and no, it's not because of the dress.

I can't figure out what's hotter--the clip, or the fact that you posted it.

it's close, but I think it's the fact that I posted it...

Since I don't know you, I'll comment on the dress.

I don't know why, and I'm surprised I feel this way, but I really really like it. It's hard to know if I would like it on anyone else (anyone less beautiful, tall, etc.), but on her, it is quite stunning.

I love the mix of celebrity/DC gossip/fashion you provide on here. With the near professional writing quality, it's a great, unique blog. I'm glad I stumbled upon it last month!
