One of my favorite pastimes is to peruse Vogue's online pictorials of next season's ready-to-wear runway collections. A vast majority of these clothes is too ridiculous even for the streets of Paris or Manhattan, but there are a select few pieces that with the right accessories and a bit of tailoring could very easily translate into DC-appropriate looks. I gathered up those I found most inspiring and posted them here for you.
It looks like metallics, high-waisted pencil skirts, round-collared jackets, high-necked casual and dressy minis and deep-v plunge evening gowns will continue to be in vogue throughout the year.
Try to ignore the sullen-looking models. They're just pissed because they aren't allowed to have Biel-tastic booties. Or muscle tone.

at first glance, my favorite work outfit is the royal blue satin skirt with the cream satin oxford shirt.
For you, hands-down, I see you in the red wrap dress with black tights and silver shoes. With your hair pulled back you two might even be twins!
for the dressier options, my favorite is the high neck black waisted one that sort of look like it's made of pnk foil. Few could pull it off, but it's really exquisite.
For you, again hands-down the black BCBG one. I'm surprised you don't already have that one in your closet.
Oh wait, sugar daddy comes first, *then* comes the couture. I keep getting that backwards.
