They're almost space-age looking. Very very cool.

Mein Gott, these could take the top off a bottle, knock the rose trellis into place, and I've wanted them for two whole days of waiting since you posted them in the upcoming window. Aren't they wonderful!

I think that's a pointy toe, miss.

this is a gorgeous shoe no doubt! i was wondering though, because of the stress wearing heels puts on our feet and legs, does wearing them constantly promote varicose veins?

i love wearing heels as much as the next gal! but the idea of having varicose veins is unappealing.

thoughts?

Yes, Elle, they *are* pointy, but they are the only kind of pointy-toed shoe I like. Instead of that awful 25-degree angle Italian-style point that goes on forever and ever, this is much more of a 45-degree point that points and then stops. Me likey that kindy.

there is no way they'd let you through airport security with those on

not sure if you'll see this question Johanna, but I wanted to ask you about reheeling or repairing your heels. I find that it doesn't take that long for me to wear through that little strip of plastic on the bottom of my heel if I'm wearing them all the time, and walking in them on the streets. Do you find this too? How long do they usually last? Can you get them repaired/reheeled? Where do you do it?
